Question about Kenmore 22422 Top Load Washer
The machine (a Kenmore 90) does agitate, but when it reaches the cycles following wash, it stops. I am having difficulty opening the top to look underneath for the lid safety switch. I do not see the plastic piece, nor do I hear a click when I open or close the lid.
Remove the 2 console screws one on each side of front or they may be on the back of console, flip it up and you will see the lid switch jack on the washer in the middle, unplugon the washer side you want two cut the 2 outside and wire nut them together, this will by pass the lid switch, plug back in,put console back and you should be good to go-mike
