Problem for Acer Aspire? 3050-1733 (LX.AXE0Y.122) PC Notebook
Screen does not come on
Sometimes when I turn on my laptop, the screen does not come on. I have to hold down the start button to shut it off and then restart it. It used to be infrequent, but now it happens nearly every day. What is this? Am I doing something wrong? What is this doing to my computer? Then when it starts up properly I will get pop ups saying that certain programs have stopped working, it is searching for a solution and will notify me when one is found. What is going on here? My laptop is just over a year old. Thank you to anyone who can give me some insights....Gloria

- I have the same problem. The laptop will sound like it is booting up but will not. I have resolved the problem by letting it sit for about 15 minutes and then trying to restart it, and it usually works. however since Microsoft likes us to restart all the time, it really sucks. These laptops have serious motherboard issues with no video. The easiest thing to do is replace the laptop. To get the motherboard repaired will likely be 180 to 200 dollars and may not last. Hard to find someone to fix it too. I have two with video issues and been unable to get someone to repair the motherboards
