F6 indicates a problem with the drain mechanism. It could be that something is blocking the drain. From repairclinic.com:

If your washer won't drain, check these:

It spins, but doesn't pump
It doesn't spin or pump
It pumps, but the water returns
It spins, but doesn't pump If your washer spins but doesn't pump the water out, the drain line is probably clogged. In many washers, a small sock or other piece of clothing can get between the clothes tub and the outer tub that holds the water. If the clothing gets between the tubs, it may then get into the drain hose that's attached to the pump--or even into the pump itself. If it's in the pump, you need to remove the hoses from the pump and pull the item out.

To remove the sock from the outer tub port, open the washer's main access panel and remove the large-diameter rubber hose that connects the pump to the bottom of the outer tub. Then, using needle-nose pliers, try to grab and remove the clothing through the port.

Sometimes you can't remove the stuck clothing from below. Then you have to remove the agitator, top of the outer drum shield, and inner clothes tub. This isn't easy to do--and you may need special tools--so you might be happier getting a qualified appliance repair technician to do the job.

If the drain line isn't plugged, the problem may be with your pump. Even if the pump appears to be turning, the internal impeller may be broken. If so, you need to replace the pump.

It doesn't spin or pump If your washer doesn't spin or pump water out but the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley. If so, you need to replace the pump. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it.

It pumps, but the water returns If the water that pumps out of the machine goes back into the machine after the spin cycle, your washer may be siphoning the water from a laundry tub that has a slow drain, back into the washer. The usual remedy for this is to improve the draining of the laundry tub. (Is something stuck in the drain?) Also, check for these problems:

  • If the drain hose reaches more than about 4 inches into the laundry tub, cut off the excess.

  • If your drain hose is lower than the washer's cabinet, install an air gap/siphon break assembly.

Fb is a fault detected with the optical water indicator. which is kinda nice cause your unit doesnt have one! basically its a fill level control issue. there are two possibilities.the water indicator in the sump is not working properly, this is the first one. remove all filters and look into sump. there is a black grid at about the three o'clock position. it has a bad habit of filling up with muck and goo preventing the black rubber diaphram (sp?) in the back from moving. you can often see white fat deposits on the grid. you can clean these with a toothbrush and hot soapy water.second is the flow meter. this is in the water matrix, located under the left hand side panel. poor connections at the little pcb are common. often a good cleaning and a pinch of the connector will solve the problem. bear in mind though that each of these individual problems ShoulD bring up there own fault codes. it is possible (though not very often) that the computer has lossed its plot. theres no easy solutions, but if you decide to take this on yourself make sure the dishwasher is unplugged. hope this helps:)

Is it taking water in?
check for kinked fill hose.
is the water pressure good enough?
Failing that, left hand panel off, unplug the flowmeter, plug it back on and try again.

Take the side panel off, disconnect then reconnect the flow meter. It will be working fine now.

Thanks

Fb error does not exist, if instead error is F8, that means that there is a problem with the drain system, check the drain hose, remove the appliance bottom panel and try to remove any possible obstruction using a screwdriver, taking care not to damage the unit.

Looking for answer to error code F5 on Whirlpool Dishwasher ADG 8200

Fault Code F5 or Five Flashes
Cause: Spray arms are blocked/clogged or otherwise malfunctioning.
Action: Spray arms are easily removed so take them out of the dishwasher and wash in the sink to clear out any gunk (using descaler should help shift any stubborn debris). Whilst doing this run the dishwasher on a short program without the spray arms to clear any further blockages.

Whirlpool Dishwasher machine (Mod. ADG 8970/1) wont start. Water is taken in. After several attempts to start an error code "F4" appeared.

Hello Sir,
This error code, " F4 " comes only when the waste outlet is totally clogged with waste and blocked. Try to dismantle the machine and locate the Waste outlet pipe and thoroughly clean it. This will reset the error which is caused.

Thank you Sir,
Have a nice day.

Purple blotch on screen

hi..This patch can be a result of your TV 's Auto Degaussing
Coil problem. Metallic parts of a TV gets magnetized and the
ADG coil demagnetizes them. At power on you should hear a
sound, which is the ADG coil.please check the ADG coil connector
it might have been pulled out. The ADG coil is wrapped around securely
on your TV's Picture tube and power is tapped directly from the AC
Main via a plug in type connector to the TV main circuit board.
check it out..
thank u..
