I had a few times such a problem but not with this particular motherboard. I needed to install some hotfix from Microsoft to be able to find and install an audio device. Look here Hope you'll find your solution.

SOURCE: Computer auto power on

I believe the setting you want is in the bios. It has been a while since I have been in mine. It has to do with "restart after power failure"

And since your time/date are also off, I suspect you have a weak cmos battery on the board.
How old is the computer?

The battery looks like a watch battery. It is round and thin. It should be replaced.

SOURCE: where can i find installer for the video card of

You can get it at asrock's website. Anyway, you can get it here. Make sure to choose your correct operating system or the version of windows you are using so that you will be directed to the right drivers. If you only need video drivers, then only download the links to "VGA Drivers"

VGA / Onboard graphics Issue

Yes, there may be a problem with the on board graphics, if you have a compatible graphics card you can bypass the on board.
Was the previous owner using the on-board, or did he maybe have a card that he removed? Might be worth looking in the BIOS settings in case the on board graphics has been disabled

I want to know if my 775i65gv motherboard is ok for a 500W power supply?

The power supply depends more on what will be connected to the mother board, like what type of video card and how many devices (hard drives, CD/DVD drives, CPU AMD or INTEL, etc...) I've seen GAMING systems that needed 100watts just to power the video card... and 200watts just to power a SAN RAID 5 ARRAY card with 6 hard drives...

No display

Hi st_niclaus,
(Note: ASRock does not list the FX 5500 series AGP graphics card on their web site).
To confirm this please see the VGA supported list at ASRock, click this link:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/vga.asp?Model=775i65gv&s=775&c=VGA
There is an order that should be followed when upgrading from using the onboard video to the AGP card.
Check your bios setting. See Init. Graphic Adapter Priority page 27 & 28 in manual.
Set to: [AGI/PCI/Onboard].
Also see instructions on how to install, AGI slot: on page 17.
AGI = ASRock Graphics Interface.
If your display still does not function after making these changes, it is possible your FX 5500 is not compatible with your board.
(Suggest you buy one from the list provided by ASRock's supported link above).

Good luck st_niclaus!

Mike
