Problem burning (some) QT movies to DVD using Nero

Hi, I have a problem while creating a DVD from a collection of the crazy movie clips from the net. These come in various formats, but one in particular is giving me problems. The clip is the Toyota "Bulls" ad, in QT .mov format, and when the clip is played back on the DVD it plays without sound. (it plays just fine on the PC). There are 90 other clips on the CVD, some of them also .mov clips, and they all play back just fine. I am using Nero 6.6 upgraded from the net with the "reloaded" upgrade, on a Pioneer DV-108. (Standard PC clone running AMD Sempron with 1G memory). I am burning at 1x to be careful, with otherwise the default settings, as I don't understand a lot about the various Nero options. Is there perhaps a particular Nero setting I should check, to ensure that the .mov sound is properly recorded? Thanks for any helpful suggestions... :) Michael

Re: Problem burning (some) QT movies to DVD using Nero

Hi, i had a customer with what sounds to be the same problem with copying the .mov files. The reason for it being she needed the codecs to get the sound working or it would copy the disc with no sound. the way we fixed it was we needed to buy the Nero Premium as it gives you the extra codecs built in. if your copying films etc your best to download dvd shrink you can find it free by searching on Hope this helps John

Im trying download a movie that say it 2 hours 15minutes long so i got a double sided dvd to try to download it but it keep said will not fix so could i shrink the movie even if the dvd has 120 minutes on...

yes... Nero Vision which is part of Nero will allow you to do this by reducing the quality of the movie. It will tell you the overall burn quality that the movie will burn.

DVD Shrink will allow you to backup movies that are over 4.7GB on to a 4.7 GB DVD by doing the same.

Hope this helped you!

Nero dvd

Hiya, No No No! Nero Don't know any differance If the movies you have downloaded NEW OR OLD are illegal or not Nero is just a program that burns data to a dvd or cd disc Try Unistalling the full program Vir - START - Settings - Control Panel - Add & remove programs and then Re-Installing it Or better still Download a cracked version of Nero Premium 7 from any of these links premium 7 Enjoy!!

Converting .DAT files to DVD Files

I guess that this file is from a VCD? If you just burn that file onto a CD as a data CD it should play in your DVD player. The AVSEQ01.dat file is already a (S)VCD file. It is in MPEG format and should be playable on a DVD player as is. Alternatively you can import the file you want to burn into nero vision. Once it is imported then choose to export the file as an MPEG file or burn direct to DVD. Please update the question & let us know if the information given was useful to you - Good Luck!
