Motorola v3 My daughter dropped the phoen and now the screen is balnk(Black) the phone works in every sense but no display at all? Any ideas? Thanks Norman

In my humble opinion, you have two inexpensive choices:

1. Sign onto eBay and type in the following: Motorola V3 Razr original LCD display screen + tools and you can fix it yourself for less than $10.00.
2. The second option is to buy a used phone for about $20.00 delivered, if you're lucky.

if it in warranty, claim for it or get it repaired

try to re asemble ur phone then put it together again

unfortunately this happens frequently with the razr

(sometimes as a result of dropping, sometimes not)

if it is under warranty you can take it to a store to have it replaced

what you may need to do is replaced the flexcable on the phone not the lcd.

Either your flex cable is broken or came loose. Is the top left hinge button still intact? Is it loose at the hinge? You will need a Torx 4 screwdriver to take the LCD screen apart to check the flex cable inside.

Sorry to say that u gotta change the display ... costs u around 80$

what you can do is install the MPT software that came with the phone on to to pc.....then use the old motorola with blank screen and connect it to the pc via the usb cable....once the pc see the phone then located the ringtones folder and copy them to the pc then do the same process with the new phone and then copy the ringtones into the phone folder.

This happens alot to my phone... I take my sim card and put it in a spare cell phone that i have and then switch it back into my razr, it works everytime
