Question about Kenmore 73952 Gas Dryer

No heat in kenmore 97273100 72731 front load gas cloths dryer

I have a kenmore front load gas cloths dryer whose model number is 97273100 72731 and serial number is MB4321932. This morning I found that it tumbles and signals when the drying cycle is over but the cloths are not dry, from which I infered that the heating part is not working.
What should I do about this and is it self fixable?

I have the same problem... exactly... My dryer (73592) was working yesterday no problems. Today I put some laundry in and the drum turns...and the cycles sounds when over... but there's no heat. The duct is clean... the lint screen is clean.... are there any fuses that I can check?

Check the ignitor under the door panel on the left side of the burner if it gets red when you turn the dryer on.if yes than see if gas shoots out and yes than how long it stays on if in few minutes it turns off than need thermal fuse checked so let me know up to this point if it works or not .

Have a Kenmore 90 series gas dryer model 110. 72922188 that won't come up to heat and dry the clothes...Popped the front, cleaned all the lint areas, checked the cycle knobs for proper setting, tub/ motor...

aslong as the ignitor is glowing red then a click frome the flame switch and lights the burner tube and continues to repeat this over then dryer is ok ...... take venting off back of dryer and do a test load .... that will solve if it's a venting problem... if dryer dryes clothes with venting off back of dryer then it is a venting problem ..... from vent tube to out side exhaust... if dryer dosent dry clothes with vent off then u need to replace the gas coils black cylinders on top of gas valve... cost around $30.00 and very easy to installl 2 phillips screws in bracket cap on top of the coils slide off and replace one at a time there is a large coil and small coil and they both come in same kit and need to go back in the same spot they came off in ....part numbers..# 306106 306105 or recheck your model number off dryer data plate and order off sears.com

Kenmore Gas Clothes Dryer does not heat sufficiently

Ok, first and foremost, make sure your vent is clean and clear.
If the vent is clean and free of obstructions the most likely culprit is your gas valve coils. When they fail the typical symptom is heat at the beginning of the cycle and no heat about 20 minutes later.
If you can, post the complete model number from the dryer and I will give you step by step tear-down and replacement of parts instructions.

Kenmore gas dryer, no heat

Your dryer lint vent pipe out the back of the machine or maybe out the side is partially plugged. You have to pull the machine out and clear that pipe or rebuild it out to a soffit vent or static vent if it is in the attic, or out through your crawl space. This will make a huge difference. If that hot air and moisture doesn't get out of the machine it just goes back into your clothes.
Good luck!!
