What drivers will Crysis 2 could work? because I have an ATI Radeon HD 5450 but it says unsupported video-card etc. ; what would I do?

The Radeon HD 5450runs Crysis 2 well.

Just because the game manufacturer states that they have not specifically certified the game to run on your card does NOT mean that the game won't run.

Now that we know for sure the game will run with your video card, if there are issues running it we can look in to other possible causes.

First, try updating your graphics card. Find out what company designed your card, either Nvidia or ATI. Find the model of your card. In Windows 7 go to "computer", right click, then click properties. Then device manager in upper left corner. Under Display Adapter it should say what card you have, updating can fix a WORLD of issues. If that doesn't work go to the "search for files" under start menu. Type "msconfig" . Under services click "hide windows services" then post a picture of this list to me using print screen or something. I can tell you if you've got something nasty still running.

Hi i have a problam in my pc i have lap top and its start to be lagy not long ago in games and evin some times in videos if you can help i be happy ,thank you

update graphics card drivers, turn of windows update and shut down unecessary programs when running games, increase the amount of physical RAM and make sure the laptop isn't getting too hot. Check the system for spyware and virus's. Laptops generally aren't great for gaming so if it's new games you are struggling with it might be the laptop simply isn't able to cope.

Laggy display after a few minutes play

lot of the game now a days require a pretty big video card. A 5200 is outdated and i know u cant upgrade your laptop. The best solution to this is increase the amount of RAM in your laptop to the max. When you run games lower the video settings to low or medium. Another thing that can help is running msconfig in the RUN box and turning off lot of apps that run in background

Video card

Notebook computers unless made specifically for gaming aren't able to play the graphic intense games like gears of war and games that are graphic intense, I run an sli machine with dual graphics cards, ans still cannot play on the highest graphics settings on some machines, the new motherboards are runnong 3 an 4 video cards for gaming rigs. Most notebooks run shared graphics memory and don't have a seperate card for graphics, look at the alienware notebooks, and you will see what I am talking about, unless you have a 'Gaming laptop" custom job, playing the latest games is out for most normal laptops.

I have an ibm thinkpad t41 laptop i upgraded to a 1gig ram i want to know if the grapics card can be changed or upgraded . I am trying to run 7 wonders game and it freezes up

the graphics cards really cant be upgraded with out major work. The game you want to run needs 512 of dedicated video memory, not shared as a laptop uses.

Hope this helps,

Thanks,

Age of empires 3 not loading

Age of Empires 3 requires a decent computer to run. If im correct in understanding what you are saying, you graphics card may not be up to date. This is what happend to me on several games. All i had to do was update my video card drivers and it worked.

The recommended requirements are:

- Microsoft Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP
- 512 MB of RAM
- 2.0 Ghz CPU
- 128 MB 3D video card

- 1.5 GB of extra free hard disk space
- 32x CD-ROM drive
- DirectX 9.0c (important)
- DirectX 8.0 compatible sound card
- 56 kbps Internet connection for online play

If you PC has all of the above or better, it should work perfectly.

If you do not have those requirments, download a 3D render that acts as a card for your computer, making your computer play games it orignally cant handly. I recommend "Swiftshader". Just type in google and go to there site, and download a demo. their are harldy any restictions on it apart from a splash logo in the side. when you extract, place the
"d3d8", and the "d3d9" files in the root (main folder) of the game. Then run!

This method is good if you have a good amount of ram (more then the game requirements)

HOPE IT HELPED!!!!!

Got a virus spyware

Hi clemsonfan1,

Hope you have a anti-virus and anti-spyware program. If so, run it and let it do it's thing. If not, you can download freeware programs and isntall it, run update, and scan.

Free version Bitdefender: http://www.bitdefender.com/media/html/trialpay.html

Free anti-spyware:
http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html?tag=lst-1&cdlPid=10861988

Free anti-spyware:
http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2008/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?cdlPid=10844457

MS Defender is also good:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=435bfce7-da2b-4a6a-afa4-f7f14e605a0d&displaylang=en

Definitely use the anti-virus program and any two of the anti-spyware program.

Good luck

Cant get other video cards in a laptop?

He is correct all video cards are diff on each laptop.
try turning off all software in the startups except the ati programs

click start run / type msconfig
go to the startup tab and un-check everything except the ati software , click ok and restart, choose the don't show this again . and test the system now.

run the system while connected to ac as it will likely run faster than on battery power.

Hp video camera is not working

(If I understand your first problem is: you may have some virus and/or spyware) Update and run your anti-virus program.
You need to install update and do all the tweaks on a recognised anti-spyware program.
If you have an anti-spyware program installed make sure it is NOT listed on 'The Spyware Warrior List of ‘Rogue/Suspect Anti-Spyware Products & Web Sites’
http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti...
Those are "anti-spyware programs" that install their OWN spyware, while 'supposedly' removing everything else.
Use instead "Ad-Aware 2007", "Spybot - Search & Destroy", "SpywareBlaster" are three good ones. Beware of imitations and name similarities. Install and update then run them weekly after doing the latest updates.
Lastly, to stay OFF of Weird and Strange websites!  ;>)
Install McAfee SiteAdvisor.

After you clean-up your computer.
Go to your "Device Manager" (Right click on ‘My Computer', select 'Properties', click the 'Hardware' tab, click the 'Device Manager' button. Click the "Sound video and game controllers"). If there is some kind of a "Warning" icon superimposed on the 'Vidieo Camera' icon there is your problem!
If no "Warning" icons then try...
One at a time...
Double click on each of the devices that have 'Vidieo' in the listings.
Click the "Properties" tab; look for any "Warning" icons
Uninstall the DRIVERS for THAT DEVICE only. See instructions below.
Click on the faulty device and hit the remove button, follow the instructions given by the program.
Shutdown, restart, the device will automatically reinstall by the "Found New Hardware" program.
