Red Screen

Hello! We have a Sony KP-57HW40 57 inch TV. The other night, I heard a small "click" almost like the power went out on the TV. I looked up and the screen was completely bright red.........I immediately shut the TV off, and let it sit for a minute, thinking it was a fluke thing happening. I turned the TV back on, and the picture was back, but within 15-30 seconds, the picture started turning pink, then back to bright red. We moved the TV to another room thinking what the heck, it's worth a try! Same thing. Any help on this that we can do ourselves or is it time for the pros? Any help would be great.....thanks.
