Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
When i start the game, my screen tells me that the refresh rate of the game (85Hz) is not supported by it (only can handle with a maximum of 75Hz). I've tryied to connect another screen into the cpu, and it has given me the same warning although the image was appearing at its new screen. So i tryied to change de videio options but there where no options to change about the freshing rating, and even the resolution was limited: i could only choose betwen 3 resolutions. Can you help me?
Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

First change the referesh rate for your monitor. If that works, then you dont have to change the resolution. If that does not work, try increasing the rate again. Once you can get the game, then try to change the resolution from within the game options, if necessary..

You can only select HD if you have a component cable and not the composite cable that comes with the Wii.

SOURCE: refresh rate problem
It depends on your monitor. Some monitors don't support higher frequencies at higher resolutions. I wouldn't try to force it very much, as your monitor has built-in protection designed to stop it from operating at a higher frequency than it's capable. If you did find a way to work around that, you're likely to blow the monitor.

1280x1024 native and will go to 75hz x 81khz
I'd probably look more at what your video card supports.
