Question about Video Game Consoles

Open Question

Battlestrike - Force of Resistance - Refresh Rate Problem

When i start the game, my screen tells me that the refresh rate of the game (85Hz) is not supported by it (only can handle with a maximum of 75Hz). I've tryied to connect another screen into the cpu, and it has given me the same warning although the image was appearing at its new screen. So i tryied to change de videio options but there where no options to change about the freshing rating, and even the resolution was limited: i could only choose betwen 3 resolutions. Can you help me?

You can only select HD if you have a component cable and not the composite cable that comes with the Wii.

SOURCE: i got a new tv

This will probably be due to the refresh rate of your new screen, plug your PS3 into your old screen if you don't experience this delay effect it is due to your TV. There is no way to fix this on your TV so I would take it back to the store and buy a TV of a refresh rate of at least 60Hz 120Hz would be best though.

SOURCE: Pls tell me what range

One possible cause would be the player. Their is a chance that the DVD player do not support the version of your AVI. Try to use Total Video Converter, this is what i use when i cannot play a video on our LCD TV. Hope it helps thanks.

My SONY KDL55W950 has been ghosting, I hope that's right. When any bright image(i.e. Netflix logo or menu on PS3 game) is on the screen for more than 30 seconds it leaves a image of the bright bits

Brian, you are having an issue with your "
flicker" rate. You will have to adjust your frame refresh rate, or dpi to suit the connection you are trying to make. For example; Netflix works best at 720 dpi, but it will run at 1080. If you reduce the resolution, it will allow the LED's time to extinguish completely between the pixels. ^^ Hope this helps, and good luck.

Alright, so, N64 and a very new Polaroid, flat screen television. The console works fine, as does the television, but when we try to play on the N64 with this TV in particular, the screen is flashing...

Check to see if you can change the refresh rate of the television. (Newer screens refresh faster than the old ones, and if it is refreshing faster than the N64 can put out, you will see black flashes)

What about lowering the refresh rate? I find the lastest driver for my XP machine is actually worse than original and gives this juddery effect! I guess you only have 1 Windows 7 driver you can try?

When playing a blu ray film on ps3 the picture appears to judder

first you need to make sure that the refresh rate hz of the 'blue-ray' are set to the same as the tv and that your tv supports 1080P the PS3 will back clock to 1080i for games but not for the 'blue-ray'

WW II Battlestrike

If your game came with a downloadble demo, and you downloaded it, go to the BattleStrike icon in your desktop, right-click on you mouse, go to properties (last option on the list). You will see something like "C:\Program Files\City Interactive\BattleStrike". Write down that address. Then go to "Start", "Control Panel", "Add or Remove Programs" and find the demo AND WW II BattleStrike. Remove both. Go to to the address you wrote down ("C:\Program Files\City Interactive\BattleStrike") and delete the whole folder (City Interactive in this case). Reload the game WITHOUT the demo. It should run fine this time around.
