Td 4212 w Drier is not heating

Check if it still turns but no heat. If it's a kenmore or whirlpool, it's like a fuse in back of dryer. I would need mor info if it's not these models

Drier shuts off

Thermostat controls heat. There is also a

motor centrifulgal switch, in the element

circuit, that the motor closes to insure

the motor is turning. Try another heat

setting. There is more than one

thermostat. You may have blown the

'thermal fuse' too, which requires

replacement. The elecment has a contact in

the 'timer'circuit too.

It is possible that your element has

failed also.

Tripped high limit. Must clean the lint

filter and the exhaust vent tube and all

the way in to the dryer. Hot air exit is

restricted.

Dryer still wont heat

you could remove and bench test the theromostat. my kenmore would not complete the circut to heat at all with a faulty thermostat. Just use a jumper wire to bypass it and test it THERE WILL BE NO SHUT OFF COULD HEAT UP TOO MUCH IF LEFT RUNNING.

Dryer wont spin

Take the back off  of the drier after unplugging and the beklt goes from the motor pully all the way around outside of the the drum. You can't miss it. Most of the Kenmore drier belts are the same. WE have apliance repair parts stores locally. If you also do , go to the store with the old belt and match it up.

MY drier heating element shows 9 ohms continuity, it also shows 120 volts into and out of it when the drier is running. But the heating element wont heat up?

Have you checked the voltage at the outlet? You're supposed to read 220-240 VAC at the heating element. Your dryer heating circuits require at least 220 VAC to work. The motor, however, only uses 120 VAC. That's why your dryer may be running, but the heating circuits aren't heating. I would go back and check your outlet. You may be missing one leg of the 220 service, or have a loose, burned, or broken wire in the plug or terminal block (on the back of the dryer). Let me know what you find. I hope this helps you.

Whirlpool gas dryer won't start

you most likely have a bad motor. Motors run around 100 dollars since the machine is 20 years old it would be a good idea to replace it with a new dryer. if i were you i would stick with a whirlpool product.
