TV changes colour to pink and then image dissapears
My old Panasonic TV has a peculiar problem. When it heats up the colour changes to pink and the entire image vanishes with just the sound present. We need to switch it off and wait for a while before turning it on but the same symptoms persist. Can someone help us?

Sounds to me like a problem with tubes. In your TV there are "tubes." These tubes work better after heating up for at least 25-30 seconds, sometimes longer in older models. It might be a problem with them. Follow this link to read a small amount about tubes, and steering coils.
Depending on how old your TV is, you may or may not be able to find ones for sale. Google the **** out of your TV and you might be able to find the model # for you tube. Then google that model number tube and see if you can find one for sale.

Tv is old the tv CRT-(tv tube) it CRT Yoking circuitry not good as before. The tv deguassing coil in not eleminating all the interference of the tv functions anymore.Move the tv unit to the right or to left like about 3 or 4 inches either sides will help for this problems.
Go into the menu settings and check whether it has a warmth tint function o, if on then turn it off and adjust the settings accordingly.
If this doesn't work then Maybe a power surge has damaged the box. Try using a different scart/hdmi cable which you know works... it could be a damaged wire.
If not, unplug the box and leave it with nothing connected for 24 hours to get rid of the static and try again.
May be that the colour Amp is at fault or the tube is busy failing. Commonly it would be the colour Amp (Dry joints or faulty drivers). The Green is dead. I have had cases where power surge can magnetise the tube to such an extend that the whole picture will show one colour. In your case I doubt it very much. Good Luck,JUS004
Are you getting Green or purple or pink patches all over the screen? This could be a problem of Degaussing. Have you placed any Magnetic source near the TV recently? Some Tape recorder or walkie talkie or a Speaker, etc? The Magnetic field created by any of the above sources can cause coloured patches over a colour TV screen. It also happens if you shift the TV from one location to another.
The third possibility is that the Picture Tube's Red Output stage gone faulty. Unless you are a trained Solid state Electronics Technician, there is nothing you can do. Better go for a trade in.
