Question about Bushnell ® Elite® 3200 3 - 9x40 mm Ballistic Reticle Riflescope

1 Answer

Sighting in, clicks don't move where they're supposed to.

I've used 2 boxes of shells, same brand, same weight, trying to sight in a 7mm rem mag. so far the closest i've got is about 3 inches high. All the mounting screws are tight. the barrel is free floated. The gun and scope were purchased brand new. When you click the scope, I also tap it to make sure it adjusts, It may move anywhere frome .5 of an inch to 2 inches, and not necessarily in the direction it was clicked. for example shooting off a concrete bench with a shooting rest the first two shots were 3 inches high on a sighting target, It was clicked 12 times (should be 3 inches) and the bullet did not hit the target. 12 clicks back and it came back close to where it was. The target was 12 inches square.

Any help with this would be appreciated.

Ja, it's 1/4 M.O.A, so at 25 yards/meter it'll be ca 3 inches. You may have gone in the wrong direction. That is, if it was 3' high, and you went another 3 higher then you'd be at the top of the paper. Probably you've got it figured out by now.

The easiest, fastest, cheapest way to zero is with a rifle rest you can clamp your scope into, or alternatively somehow immobilize your rifle some other way. You take a shot, at 25 yards or so. It makes a hole. You now immobilize the rifle, via your rest or heavy sandbags, with the scope pointing exactly where you aimed before. You now, carefully and without moving the rifle/scope off of the point of aim, dial your reticle to point at the actual bullet hole. Your next shot will be at your point of aim now. So you just put it at the right height above your point of aim at 100 yards now.

Where can i find a magazine loading chamber for a mossberg 835 12 ga. pump? and how much?

I'm sorry but I don't quite know what you mean, sir. Can you explain a bit?

The 835 is a tube mag pump action. You load it by slipping a shell into that open area on the bottom of the gun, slip the shell forward into the tube until it's thumb knuckle into the tube. That gets it past both shell stops.

How much is a remington 7mm model 700 serial #6246191 worth?

No way to tell with such a general post. Would have to see the rifle and know what grade it is ie. ADL, BDL ect. and is it a 7X57 or 7m/m express or a 7m/m Rem. Mag. The Blue Book of Gun Values is a great reference guide.
