someone told me that battery of apple ipods cant be replaced once they r empty or get damaged.is it true?

what do i do????????????
Hi There, You are indeed having a battery problem. The battery needs to be replace. The someone who told you that the battery cannot be replace is wrong ;-) Did you purchase the extended warranty from Apple? If so, they will be able to replace the battery free of charge. If you did not purchase the extended warranty, then you can purchase the battery from ebay and replace the battery yourself if you are a "do it yourself handy person". If not, you can send the iPod in to a third party to replace the battery. I found the below site for you that will sell you the battery or they can replace it for you as well. http://www.ipodjuice.com/apple-ipod-repair.htm If you need additional help, please feel free to contact me. Thanks, Mike
