Re: T.V. won't turn on.

Sometimes it happens like that and tv's stop working for no reason and sometimes there is a reason like lighting or complete lost of power in the house, some other electronics might be affected or just the tv ,you already checked the outlet and it has power now you need to call professional help and get an estimate, the cost depends on the amount of damage.Be careful if you decide to remove the back cover,is not safe back there.

Tv won't turn on

Was the power button from the main outlet(wall) kept in the ON (position)throughout the knight! i.e. switched off by the remote only? In that case a power surge druing the night could have fried some part of the TV circuit. In such case there are many fuses inside the TV which need to be checked out If the main tubes are gone kaput then better to replace the entire set......................sodeep

I am not getting any power to the TV. I have checked the outlets and they are all working. I unplugged the unit for 30 minutes and still nothing. It was working last night without problems.

I don't see the model of tv that you have. You may want to check and see if you have a blown fuse on the tv. That is where I would start and go from there.

Tv wont turn on

take your tv to technician who can check your power supply, if your power is coming on and off, than a problem is not as big. firstly let him check a ht of a supply constantly, your supply is cutting.

TV shut off

The set is going into shutdown, there are a few reasons why the circuit is being activated, excessive high voltage, excessive volts supply(poor regulation)no screen voltage or a secondary supply is missing,if you are familiar with tv service you have a few places to check, you will need a volt meter and a soldering iron and the squematic diagram to locate the different circuits mentioned,if you are not too familiar seek the assistance of a servicer.Let Us know if you need more information.
