Sony Vaio laptop (PCG-61317L) once I start browsing the internet, the screen freezes and the mouse cursor disappears from screen. When I don't browse the internet, it sometimes does the same thing

The reason this is happening is that as you are typing; you're resting some weight on the thin plastic above the touchpad...which then makes contact and registers a 'click'; thus moving your cursor around. Or you're brushing your thumb against it when hitting the space key.

Some laptops are more susceptible to this than others. Some more modern laptops come with a button to turn the touchpad off to solve this very problem.

The only thing you can do about this is to disable the touchpad through the touchpad driver (down by the clock, usually) and use a mouse instead. Depending on how you use your laptop, this will be more or less inconvenient- if your laptop never leaves the desk; disable the touchpad and use a mouse...no problem. If you go mobile a lot, you'll have to enable and disable the touchpad all the time.

The other thing you can do is adapt your typing style so you don't put any weight on anything but the key you're pressing. This is quite difficult and uncomfortable, and is not recommended for long sessions.

Some time touchpad working and some time not working

Reinstall drivers for touchpad. If problem persist go to service. It could be faulty pad hardware or problem with northbridge/southbridge on your motherboard

I have a HP 630,how can I disable the trackpad. There are no options avi in control panal

The touchpad provides full mouse functionality to your laptop but there are instances when you may actually feel more productive without the touchpad. For instance, if you have attached an external mouse to your laptop, you may not need an alternate input mechanism which is the built-in touchpad.
Sometimes your thumbs or palm may accidentally touch the touchpad while you're typing and this may inadvertently move your mouse cursor to a different location in the document. If you were not looking at your screen when the pointer jumped, you may end up typing at the wrong place.

Touchpad Sensitivity - Toshiba Satellite M55-S329: My cursor has recently begun to jump around like crazy when I type. I believe it's probably because my hands are brushing over the touchpad, which is...

If you have any dust or food particles in the cracks between the touchpad and the laptop, be sure to clean those out with a can of pressurized air. Those will sometimes cause the touchpad to think you are touching it on two places at once, which will make the touchpad jump all over the place.

Touchpad satellite A-105-S4004 wont work

when did you notice this started? it may have taken a windows update and/or a security fix. If you have windows updates set to auto, it may well have taken an update and no longer have the feature, look on the toshiba web site and see if there is any info on the specific problem you are having. I would do it for you but I am with a couplle guys who are "down" and they need to get back up, so do a search on the toshiba site with what you described, "notebook touchpad, no longer functions", also try the msft website. good luck and if you cant get it straightned out, ask for me tomorrow, and we can go step by step, peace
