Stove needs to be reset?

I was attempting to reset my clock for daylight savings time.  Not exactly sure what I pushed but this code came up.  It reads 5Ab 6A TH.  I tried to unplug it and let it reset it's problem.  Didn't work.  Any suggestions?

Hi,

Had the same problem...hold the clock button for about 3 or 4 seconds. That should fix it.

It is really SAB for Sabbath instead of 5Ab.

How to reset clock when daylight savings ends?

Hello Fran Addington, thanks for your post!
I understand that you are having difficulty setting the time on your Frigidaire range. With some ranges once you press "Clock" the time is actually set using the keypad with the numbers. I would attempt to use the keypad. If that does not help correct the issue could you please provide me with your model number? Typically, you can locate the model number on the bottom panel behind the drawer. I look forward to assisting you further. -Matt

LG Range F-1 Fault Code

After a self-clean the F-1 code came on and I couldn't use the touch pad, completely dead. I read a single post from "Toughs" on your site about pushing the "Clear" button and then the "Start" button and keeping it held til the lock button lights up (takes a while) and push "Clear" again. Afterwards everything worked and was able to reset the clock and used the stove and oven.

Thank you for the solution, saved myself a $240 service call and keypad replacement, which is what I was told was needed.

The oven will not turn on since we re-adjusted the clock for daylight savings time.

Make sure your range does not have a "Sabbath Mode" feature. There should be instructions in the owner's manual if you do have this feature. This mode allows the consumer to disable certain features of the range for those religions that honor the sabbath. This is a common problem this time of year when homeowner's attempt to reset the clocks on their range. In most cases you will see a "SAB" or "SABB" on the display.

If you are not sure, or if you have further questions, please post back with your model number (located on a nameplate around the oven door or bottom drawer opening), so that I may be able to verify for you.

I hope this helps you.

Oven dont work

First check your 20amp and 30amp fuses if any, at the top of your stove, many times this can save a lot of grief. If both your oven and broil are not turning on you could have an issue with the time setting on your clock. if you have an older manual type clock you will need to adjust the start and end time; basically if your clock is set on automatic and not manual mode you stove thinks it`s being kept on a certain time to start, therefore not allowing you to turn it on. If your clock is electronic try unplugging it and plugging it back in, a lot of times during a lightning storm the clock will get reset and wont run right until you unplug it and set the time again. if these are okay you will most likely have an issue with your oven control. hope this helps

Thanks
