If it is for a Cobra CB radio, I would check on Key CB in Warren, Indiana. They used to be a warrenty center until Cobra pulled all the centers out of the midwest. They do a good job. Hope this helps,,,Mechanic

Cobra road trip

Hi Manda,
I would be cautious about using this, as it could cause problems with power drain in your vehicle, especially if, while your using adapter and car radio/CD/aircon, etc,. at the same time.
Personally I wouldn't do it.

Cheers

Cobra 19 DX IV CB Radio Gets no signal at all

my only idea is the frequency that Canadians transmit/recieve on is different than us down south (in the USA). I know Europe and the UK use a different frequency range so my guess is that Canada uses a different radio frequency range than the U.S. making you unable to communicate with fellow radio users. You may be able to search the frequency range for Canada vs. the U.S. and see if there's a difference. Hope this helps...and again, it's just a thought.

Cobra 29 ltd sound tracker cb

you start by replacing every electr cap as most cb radios live in a hostile enviorment, They ALL suffer from dried up electolite. if the set is old ,that will be you first step,if you are up to speed with desoldering with out lifting copper tracks/etc, no reason why you can't have a go...do not shift trim pots or tuning can slugs
with out marking their factory positions as this can end up in a
mess
