Question about Gateway CX200S Tablet PC
My battery will only charge to 44%. I have tried the smart battery auto-learning command, it didn't work. So, I tried to run the batter completely down and re-charge it. Neither solution worked. So I tried the smart battery auto-learning command again and it has been running for 17 hours and the battery is still at 44% charged and the process says it is only 14% complete. Is this amount of time normal? How long should this process take?
It sounds to me as if your battery is faulty. No way should it take 17 hours to charge. The battery is abviously not absorbing the charge and this could be because one or more cells are defunct. You can just wait until it fails completely or look at getting a replacement before this happens.
Please remember to rate this solution.
