Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Where and how do I feed a power cable from my car battery to my boot for my amp. I have a vauxhall vectra gls 1996. I've done it on other cars but can't find a way on the vectra. Can someone help?

You may have to drill a hole in your fire wall, and install a little rubber gromit so it doesn't leak, I would analize your engine bay, and firewall to find the best rout, make sure you do not damage any hoses or wiring. Pop floor panels and run underneath all the way back to your amp, if you run an ought gauge like I do, it may not fit under floor panels. So I wire loomed and secured with zip ties as tucked as possible. Good luck *c*

When i started to plug my battery in my amp made

you have blown the actual filters that make the sound. a amp is basically a filter with the same filters on both channels on each side of the inside of the amp - channel 1 and channel 2, that pop was in the heat sinks of the amp usually. if you have replaced the fuse in this amp and you get no on light, the internal amp is in need of repair

Some next steps. You need the engine to turn - you have that, fuel supply, and proper engine timing in order for the engine to start. The "chug hard..." could be related to engine timing.

I would start by reading the diagnostic codes in the engine - these are stored even if the check-engine light goes out.

Next I would check fuel pressure and fuel filter to be sure we don't have a fuel delivery issue.

Next step would be engine timing, distributor or crank shaft sensors - I'm not sure about what the 95 has in it.

The light on top on my MRP-M450 blinks and the amp doesn't work

Well if you took off the cover on the amp and nothing seems to be burn't, check the voice coils on the sub. It's possible the voice coils have separated and is causing the amp to short it self out due to ground error. If that doesn't help let me know and I'll tell you the next step.
