SOURCE: Panasonic tu-ct20 digital converter box how to

I also have this problem. The helpline tell me that the latest software v1.19 should fix it. We have missed an update by 2 weeks, let us hope they repeat it soon.

Another tip worth a try they say is to power up box ans swtich on. the switch off and remove the aerial and the power plugs from the back of the box. Leave for 15 minutes and plug them back in, power up and then do a shipping condition programme search. Sometimes you get a better sort. If it is nearly right, do not try again as chance are next sear ch will be worse.
Hope this helps. Tim

switch tv to analogue tv and auto tune on tuning menu making sure sky is on. It should find it around channel 69. If quality poor then change output frequency to a lower channel. You do this with sky menu and instruction book. Info is changing RF output in book, or google it.

Hi,

Always turn on your TV with the Sky box (or any other external device you want to use) turned OFF. When the TV is on, turn on the Sky box by pressing the "Sky" button at the top centre of the remote control. This will ensure that the TV recognises that there is an external input and it will automatically switch to the correct channel. It also ensures that your Sky remote control isn't in TV mode.

If you switch your TV to standby using the Sky remote after watching, the next time you use the Sky remote, it's still in TV mode. This is why your TV channels are jumping around.

Hope this helps.

Panasonic TX P50V10B Plasma TV

In order to get any of the Freesat channels, you need to connect a Satellite dish to your TV. If you have a Sky dish, you simply need to run an extra Cable from the LNB from the dish and connect to your socket on the back of your TV.
In order to get Freeview channels and Analogue channels, you need to connect a aerial to the back of the TV.
There is a menu option for the TV to start straight to the AV input (your Sky HD box). It is Menu > Setup > Other Settings > Power on Preference. Select 'AV' for your TV to start on Sky HD.
Also even if you have your TV to start on TV, when you turn on your Sky HD box, it should automatically switch to the Sky box.

I have re-tuned my TU-CT20 Panasonic set top box several times, successfully in that I have a new list of stations, but every time BBC1 and BBC2 are omitted. It starts with ITV1 at channel 1.

If you have all the cahnnels updated then you will have to manually edit the station list and change the order of the channels. refer to your manual for instructions.

Cannot tune -in my panasonic vcr. it plays tapes but will not record. I have wired together the tv, sky box and vcr in what seems the obvious way (and every alternative) but no joy so far. can you help?

The main aerial goes into the vcr,a fly lead then comes out of the vcr into the tv,a scart lead from av1 on the vcr into the tv.If you want to record from sky and the vcr has two scart sockets then connect a scart lead from the sky into av2 on the vcr, when you record from sky you select av2 on the vcr as your record channel
