Printer doesn't work at all

PRINTER DISPLAYING SCANNER FAILURE TURN OFF AND BACK ON AGAIN I'VE TRIED THAT A THOUSAND TIMES IT KEEP SHOWING SAME THING IT WANT PRINT OR COPY ANYTHING . WHAT CAN I DO ?

go to Staples or office max or depot and take your old printer head and replace it. The old head is probably too worn or too dirty cleaning it won't work.
Also when you get your new printer head dont use the ink refills. It is cheap ink and will ruin the printer head. It will also void the warranty, it you have any warranty left. Use the ink the printer recommends only.

Looks like I found the problem: The driver software is apparently not compatible with XP SP2's "Data Execution Prevention" feature.

Go to My Computer, right click & select Properties. Choose the Advanced panel. Click the first Settings button, in the Performance Section. Choose the Data Execution Prevention panel. Choose the first radio button, "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only", not the second one "Turn on DEP for all ...."

The first radio button (essential programs only) was what was selected when I got the machine, but I myself had upped the setting to the more restrictive level.

Printer won`t rint. Paper goes through but comes out blank. The window shows that there is enough ink. It worked on pages 1 and 2 of an e- mail and then wouldn`t print page 3.

A recent download of the new Explorer program for the internet can confuse your printer. I noticed a sudden problem with printing on demand and went on line for a diagnosis from the company. Remote assistance is great and all was well afterwards. good Luck.

Go to your nearest dealer and ask them bout ur printer

try this it worked for me!

1) With the printer power OFF, while pressing the Resume button, press the Power button. (Do not release the
power button.)
2) While pressing the Power button, release the Resume button, press the Resume button again twice, and then
release the Resume button and Power button.
3) The green indicator flashes during initialization.
When the indicator stops flashing and remains on, press the Resume button 4 times to clear waste ink message.
(The indicator toggles between orange and green each time the Resume button is pressed.)
4) Next, press the Power button, and the green indicator will light, and the function will be executed.
5) Turn off the printer then back on and error should clear.

Check to see if there is a broken pin near the print head. On the PT 330 there is a metal part (looks like a U) it puts pressure on the wheel that presses the tape to the print head.

If the printer has sat idle for a moth or so without a cleaning cycle, the printhead (not user serviceable on most Epsons) may be severely clogged.

Cleaning with alcohol may loosen ink that has thoroughly dried.

Epson supplies a special solvent to clean clogged printheads, see http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/kits/Ep... for an equivalent product.

It's also possible the print head or the electronics have simply packed it in.

I hve a neww epson all in one printer and had to have someone set it up for me. The had trounlebut decided it was not compatible to my me computer. we He finally got it to work by slowing the printer up but it does not work now. I put in neww cartridges but it comes up with a communiation error when I try to print It will not print at all

nothing wrong with using ink refills as long as the consumer uses proper dye based or pigmented ink.

My printer is a little over a year old. It takes up to 1 1/2 minutes to print one page.

Also, it prints 2 copies of any document faxed directly from the computer.

open the dp unit and clean the dp unit.. carefully take out the drum unit & check if the inner clips touch the drum.. this can be done by checking the continuity of the drum with a mulitmeter.. if there is no continuity then open the gear end & spread the inner metal such that it touches the drum..

they will send you a new one which u can then replace
it will then work
