Question about Yahoo Mail

Can't get Yahoo work properly!

I can't delete, save, send, or forward messages or attachments. My sever is Orange & my browser is Internet explorer.

Try to use an alternative free browser called mozilla firefox.

Enabling ActiveX

If you plan to use the current version of Yahoo! Mail on a Windows machine, you'll want to enable your computer's ActiveX controls so you can access all the features of the email program.

To do this, go to the "Tools" menu or the gear symbol in Internet Explorer, then select "Internet Options" and "Security."

Click on "Internet," then "Custom Level."
Scroll down to "Run ActiveX Controls and Plugins" and "Script ActiveX Controls Marked Safe for Scripting." Enable each of these options and save your settings.

Reboot Internet Explorer.

I am unable to send an e-mail with attachments. My e-mails without attachments work fine. I'm also getting a message "Internet Explorer blocked this website from displaying content with security...


Switch to Firefox it generally works a lot better with Yahoo mail.

Or just save yourself the trouble and change to Gmail email, it's way better.

If Yahoo Mail is not working properly, the problem is with your internet browser. It is a sign that you have a weak internet browser.

Uninstall your internet browser , then, download a new version and install.

If you are using Internet Explorer, upgrade to a newer version.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, uninstall it and download the latest version.

After that, try to sign in on your Yahoo mail account and you will find all function buttons are working fine.

In yahoo mail inbox page screen reader problem is appearing


Auto-save to Draft Yahoo! Mail Classic now saves the message you're working on (in Drafts) so you don't lose it in the event of a power outage, connection interruption or computer problem. And as always, you can save the most recent version by clicking Save Draft. Once you click Send to send the message, the draft is deleted from Drafts. To review it after that, just look in Sent! Downloading In most cases, downloading now requires only one click-on the attachment name in the message header. Stationery! Now you can choose the perfect background for any message. Click the far-right button on the Rich Text toolbar to view all your colorful stationery options. Message Header We made the From, To and Date information at the top of each email easier to read-and added the option to flag the message in the upper-left corner (click the flag). To view a message's full header, just click Full Header in the lower-right corner. One-click "Flag this message" Organize your most important messages! Just click the dot in the new Flag column-it's one over from the check-box column. If you're in the middle of reading a message you'd like to flag, click the gray flag in the upper-left corner of the window. Yahoo is my default homepage, but it won't load. I've tried several different methods to log on to no avail. Can you help me? I really only need to get to Yahoo mail.


First, you have to make sure that your internet connection is working correctly.

Second, try to optimize your internet browser. If you're using Internet Explorer, you may follow the steps below:

1. Open your IE > click on "Tools".
2. Go to "Internet Options" > click on "Delete" button under the Browsing History.
3. Delete the Internet Files, Cookies, and History.
4. Click OK. Close and re-open your Internet Explorer.

Let me know if you're using different browser, so that I could assist you. If you're using IE6, I would also advise you to upgrade your internet browser.

I cannot delet an email message form my web page.


This could be a browser problem. What you could do is to try clearing the cookies, cache and internet files of your internet browser. Here's how:

* For Internet Explorer:
1. Run Internet Explorer and click on 'Tools' menu.
2. Go to Internet Options and locate the Browsing History section.
3. Click the 'Delete' button and delete the Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and History.
4. Close the Internet Explorer and re-open it.
5. Access your e-mail.

* For Mozilla Firefox:
1. Run Firefox and hit 'Tools' menu.
2. Go to 'Clear Recent History' and click the drop-down arrow for 'Time range to clear'.
3. Select 'Everything' and then hit the 'Clear Now' button.
4. Close and re-open Firefox
5. Access your e-mail.

Or, might as wel, try using another internet browser like Mozilla Firefox, Opera browser or Netscape to isolate the problem.

I can't send pics through email. Everytime I push attach and open my pics, then choose one pic to send, pictures close and nothing happens. What is going on. These are pics that I've sent before but can't...


This is a browser issue, try to delete all cookies and clear all cache. Please follow the steps provided below.

Internet Explorer :
1. Open Internet explorer > Tools > Internet Option
2. On the General Tab under Browsing History, click on Delete
3. On the pop up windows that opens, make sure all check box are checked that has

cookies, temporary files, and etc..., then click on delete
4. Just close and re-open Internet Explorer

Mozilla Firefox
1. Open Mozilla Firefox > Tools > Clear Private data
2. On the pop up windows, make sure all boxes are checked as well and click on

delete.
3. Close and reopen Mozilla Firefox.

I can't do anything but open and delete messages. I can't originate one, reply or forward. Message says it may be caused by browserplus plugin. When trying to perform the activities denied (above)...


Did you check it with Internet explorer or Firefox browsers...

Please update your plug ins and try...

Also which version(classic or new mail) you using...please let me know...

try clearing the browsing history in internet explorer options so it clears out the cookies just go to internet explorer options and click delete it should be under browsing history then try again it should then let you open attachments in yahoo
