SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Blown power supply for this model, can we get a power ac adapter?

"blown power supply for this model, can we get a power ac adapter?"

If you are using this machine in the US or Canada, you need a step-up transformer.
That is, a transformer that can raise the local 110 Volts AC to the 220 Volts AC your Canon FAX-JX200 needs to operate.

Your faximile consumes about 50 watts when operating.
The power output of this transformer should be such that it does not get more than just warm to the touch after half hour of operation.

Any self-respecting retailer should be able to provide you with a suitable transformer for under $20.00

Please feel free to contact me if you wish.

Thanks!

Can we use Brother 2800 as a printer with PC ? Driver is for 2820 but is there a way do this anyway? Thanks

follow this step: Connecting the facsimile machine to your computer (1) Make sure that your computer is turned off. (2) Make sure that the machine's power cord is unplugged from a wall socket. (If the machine has a power ON/OFF switch, make sure that the switch is turned off.) (3) Connect the parallel interface cable to the parallel port on the back of the machine and secure it with the lock wires. (4) Connect the other end of the interface cable to the printer port of your computer and secure it with the two screws. (5) While pressing the 5 key on the machine's control panel, plug the machine's power cord into a wall socket (or turn on the power ON/OFF switch if the machine has the switch). (6) Check to see that the following pattern displays on the LCD. If it does not display, go back to step (2) above. ← Blank-and-black patterns (7) Turn on your computer.

Line in use error when fax machine is unplugged from the phone line

Look at the LINE jack in the back of the machine and see if the little wires are parallel and not touching. If they look ok, be sure if there is a receiver, it is in place. If all that all looks ok, there may be a problem with the hook switch for the receiver or with the telephone circuit board.

I have a fax machine with the sam problem, what i did to resolve the issue was removed the 3 screws and removed the back cover, disconected the battery then removed the cover over the parallel port. I then disconected the 5 connectors on the right towards the rear of the printer 4 white 1 red, reconnected the printer to power with the connectors disconnected, then after 30 seconds i unplugged the printer reconnected the cables and it worked, has failed since

Hi, I just wanted to know if the intellifax 4100 will print also. I was going to connect to my laptop.

Yes, we used to connect to the fax machine to print via parallel cable, but our new laptop computer does not have a parallel port, so we connect via USB now to use the Brother 4100 Intellifax as a printer. It prints very nicely. We downloaded the driver from BrotherUSA.com
http://www.brother-usa.com/Downloads/
and clicked on Fax Machines, then our Intellifax 4100e, then View Download and selected our operating system and language. Just a tip - When you decompress the download, in the location to decompress to, add a folder to hold the files named Brother4100 or something like that, then when you add the printer, select that folder as your "Have Disk" location. Hope it works well for you.

I have a canon fax-l350 and I want to use it as printer too. so how can I adjest it with my pc and the required materials and softwares

To set up the L350 as a local printer (I'm assuming that you are not putting it on a network) you will need the Canon FAX-L350 CD-Rom which contains the Fax suite (I have version 3.11). You will also need a parallel printer cable as the fax machine only has a parallel printer port on the rear (the other side to the power cable.

When loading up the CD-Rom (which should have been supplied with your machine - if not you may have to buy one off the web), first make sure you read chapter 2 in the manuals folder on screen then install the driver from the 'program setup.exe' file.

After loading the CD-Rom onto your PC (and before making any physical connections between the PC and the Fax) make sure that the fax is switched off at the mains and also logout and switch off your PC. Next, connect up the cable (Canon recommend a cable that complies with IEEE1284). Centronics supply these cables, but if you do not have a parallel (8 bit ) port on your PC you can get a converter cable (Centronics 36) which will connect the parallel cable to a USB port on the rear of your PC. After checking the connections you can switch your fax back on and also power up your PC. Hope this helps.

Send and receive speed

That's not even a coherent response. Even analog phones go from an analog signal from your home, to a digital signal at the carrier, to an analog signal at the recipients end. It all goes digital at some point.

Fax machines work fine with a digital phone. The baud rate may need to be lowered in some cases, but working for a cable company, I've personally worked with hundreds of fax machines that work just fine.

Try lowering the baud rate and/or using a DSL filter if you are having problems. If you are unable to find the baud rate or speed setting on your fax, you may want to contact Canon to find out how.

Printing problem

Wow, you really don't provide much information.

What operating system are you using? Do you have the software that came with the machine installed? Are you using USB or parallel? Did you ever have it working? Did it just stop working?

If you arn't more specific about your problem I can't help you.
