Data transferring trouble

I bought a LG AX300 cell phone and i am an photographer and have took many memorable pictures on my cell phone and want to put them on my computer so i bought a USB cord and when i plug it into my computer nothing happens and nothing pops up and i need to know how to transfer the pictures.
like what software do i downloa,how do i do it,ect?

My understanding is that the service provider has a "lock" code. They CAN open the phone when it is deemed necessary - such as transferring contact lists. Key is to find the "code" to open it. That may be service company specific. I have Altel.

I have a LG8700 cellular phone and am having the same problem. I cannot transfer my pics onto my computer and I have also been to a computer tech -to were I purchased my phone and to a photo machine at Walmart and no one can solve this dilemma. Can anyone help?

I have the same problem on the LG AX300 and when I pressed 9, 4 and then 3 that is for one touch dial. I don't think that would be the right thing. 9 being settings, 4 being call settings and 3 being one touch dial.

How about some help actually with the LG AX300?

Do you set in options MASS STORAGE? if your display show u wallpaper u have setted as DATA TRANSMISION! go to menu press9 then 4 then 3 and 2 :) greets

Music transfer is not supported by Lg cookie. I had tried everything the only way is that connect your phone in usb data transfer mode and copy files on a memory card.

first of all i <3 my ax300 and if u wanted the answer u probably could have looked in ur manual but anyway pull out ur phone, press unlock and then enter the last four digits of ur phone number. its in the manual

Data transferring trouble

I think first you want to use the correct data cable for your phone. then you have to install the drivers for your phone in to your computer. Then only you can transfer files between computer and phone. You can download the drivers from the internet.

Picture transfer

dear sir i recently bought two new LG CU400 cell phones. I dislike the awful opening and closing sounds and moreso, that there is no way to disable the sound. The overall quality and design of this phone is very nice and the built-in camera is quite a nice feature. My problem is that LG does not offer software to be able to transfer the JPG pictures with a USB cable, to a PC. I've called both LG and AT&T and nobody seems to now how to transfer the pictures to a PC. Does anybody know how to transfer JPG pictures to a PC from the phone? I have the USB cable. Since AT&T took over Cingular, the service is absolutely awful! All they want to do is sell me the internet email service, which I do not want! Nobody seems to care; after 6 calls and about 10 hours on the phone, they couldn't help me.

The LG AX300 is a phone that is not compatible with video i have the same phone if you cant take video you cant recieve it, and it is very aggravating that you cant send ringtones to other ppl. But if you could no one would buy them from realtone jukebox, im guessing that you got your ringtones from there. Notice the little blue and red arrows beside your bought ringtones that is something that Realtone does so that they dont loose money. It's pretty lame that you cant set recorded sounds as your ringtone but if you get a ringtone from another person and it didnt come from realtone you can use it you have to do this.

1. go to your multimedia menu
2. go down to number five and select shuffle
3. choose ringtone list
4. click add
5. and last you select the ringtone and only the ringtone that you want, and it should work it will show up on your rintones list instead of my audio. This is the only spot this will happen
