Disconnect the mouse from the computer and turn it upside down. The screws to disassemble the mouse are under the pads on the bottom of the mouse. When you disassemble the mouse, you will find that the scroll wheel axle is gummed up, and the interruptor wheel is probably dirty. Use an old tooth brush and alcohol to clean the scroll wheel components, and let the components dry. You can use glue to re-attach the pads after you have reassembled the mouse.
Hello there: If you remove the battery cover you will see 2 small phillips head screws remove them and this will allow the part that goes around the wheel to be removed now make sure that there is no lint or dust build up around the wheel assembly canned air works great for cleaning these out then reassemble the cover and test Now if it still doesent work than you can assume that the controle sensor for the wheel is bad in this case if you still have the warranty i would take the mouse back and exchange it for a new one To have this repaired would cost more than what the mouse is worth ok I hope this is very helpful for you Best regards Michael

in fact this one is one of my Favorite Combo set, change with the the fresh bettery, link the mouse again, clean the mouse wheel with the cleaner I think it'll work.
Most opticals do not track on smooth white surfaces. It needs textures or color. Try pressing the "CONNECT" button on the bottom of the mouse and on the remote sensor.
You should make sure that you have the LX7 Setpoint software installed to set the features you want. For the scroll button or button three if pressed, I have mine set to zoom (first selection). The scroll function of the wheel should be automatic. Go the mouse movement settings and set the scroll size to 6 lines. That should allow you to scroll your pages adequately. If this helps send a reply for others to view.
its usually for most wireless equipment, press and hold the reciever button for a few seconds then press the button underneath the mouse, for it to kick in, but have windows loaded to desktop when you try it..
All the best
John
