Nintendo game cube doesn't come with a gameboy part!!!! Are you trying to insert a gameboy game into the memory card slot? Or do you have the stand that the gamecube stands on for gameboy games (gameboy player).

Or do you mean gamecube game?

Check that you have connected the gameboy player correctly to the gamecube, and if it still does not work properly check this site for further assistance

Game Boy Player to Game Cube ... how to hook up the two?

It's pretty simple actually. Just look at the bottom of your Gamecube and you'll see a bunch of ports that are covered by removable pieces. Remove them, and fit the Game boy player into all the ports. Like a jigsaw piece, it will fit, make sure the cartridge slot is underneath the controller ports. Enjoy the game boy player, its quite fun, I loved mine when I used to have it on my old GC, until it got stolen.

Isnt reading disk

Check that the Disk Laser does not have debris on it or has not been knocked loose. If you have looked at those options. Then you may have to send your GameCube to Nintendo so that they can repair it for you. If it's under warranty it's free other wise Nintendo will charge you 50.00 to fix it . Another option for you may be to try and find an used console online. I have seen them for about 40-100 bucks. I hope this helps.

How do I install this to my TV

I do not think i fully understand your problem, do you have a game boy, the hand held system? or larger Gamecube? If it is the small game boy, You do not hook it to your system. there is an adapter that fits in the Super Nintendo System that will hold and Play game boy games. It is called Super BOY.
If it is game cube and has a/v audio/video plug ends, you need a converter from Radio shack that converts those 3 colored wires to the same cable the you use for your cable input to the tv.

Sustem won't save data on one game but will on another.

i never bought the game cubes "game boy player" but as far as i know you plug your games into the player not your gameboy . if your talking about the gb to GC link cable. that does not play game boy games on your tv screen. its made to be used in tandem with a gamecube game that uses the gameboy link feature.
