The motor thinks there is an obstruction, Try greasing any moving parts, They are tricky to set up right and you may have to get the door adjusted and serviced.

You may have a bad IR sensor which is a small circuit board just in front of the motor. You might try increasing the down force which is on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go.

Garage door goes down 3/4 way down then goes back up and flashes 10 times

Your door sensors have probably been bumped and are misaligned. They must be pointing at one another to work properly. Each of them has a small light that should be lit. If you cannot get both lights on the sensor to come on you probably have a sensor that has quit working.

USUALLY POWER WINDOW PROBLEMS ARE ONE OF THREE THINGS. 1. SWITCH 2. MOTOR 3. WINDOW REGULATOR. THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM THE LEXUS HAS IS THE MASTER SWITCH IN THE DRIVERS DOOR. IT CAN ALSO AFFECT THE OPERATION OF THE PASSENGER DOOR SWITCH....IF WINDOW REGULATOR IS BAD YOU WILL HEAR SOME CRAZY NOISES COMING OUT OF DOOR PANEL...VERY OBVIOUS.... FOLLOW THIS CLOSELY...STARE AT A LITE DOME LIGHT USUALLY WITH DOOR OPEN...WHEN YOU PRESS WINDOW SWITCH, IF THERE IS ANY DIMING OF DOME LIGHT....MOTOR IS BAD. IF DOME LIGHT STAYS THE SAME BRIGHTNESS... SWITCH IS BAD... EXCEPT IN THE CASE SOME HACKER HAS BEEN IN THE DOOR PANEL BEFORE ...IT DOES TAKE A SPECIAL TALENT TO REMOVE DOOR PANELS WITHOUT BREAKING THINGS AND EVEN MORE TALENT TO REPLACE WINDOW REGULATORS

3.75 craftman garage door goes down a foot then immediately reverses back up

If when it does this your main light flashes 10 times it is the door sensors. Make sure they are aligned properly. If the main light doesn't flash 10 times then you most likely have a bad RPM sensor board. It is a small printed circuit board just in front of the motor.
