Question about Brother Multi-Function Center® MFC-215C All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Cartridge Replacement I replaced the Black Cartridge but the printer did not ask the usual question "Did you replace the cartridge?" To be answered by Yes or No. So I think the printer did not recognize that I replaced the cartridge. So it still has a warning that the black cartridge is "near empty".

I have a Dell 720 printer; just changed the black ink cartridge, with a Dell cartridge. But won't print in black. Colour cartridge working Ok. Have cleaned nozzles, reset printer preferences, dipped...

It is possible that the cartridge that you bought is not working and it happens, I experience it myself. Since you have done most of the troubleshooting for printer cartridge issues, you may want to contact Dell technical support to have that cartridge replaced. They might ask you to do those steps again to validate the replacement.

Printer wont print

Turn the printer on. Remove the cartridges. Gently clean the electric contacts on the cartridges and the cartridge carrier. Put the cartridges back in. If the light is still flashing, and your printer won't print, one of your cartridges is faulty. I suggest you go to the refill shop and consult them which cartridges needs a replacement.
Does any message appears on your monitor when you try to print something? Usually, a message saying "problem with black/color cartridge" or something similar, that's why I am asking.

How can i print in just black with no color cartrage

in your printer you can use single cartridge but there should be both cartridge inserted in the printer.it will not print if only one cartridge inserted.so let the colour cartridge empty but it should be there in the printer.other wise it will not print.at present the problem in your printer is colour cartridge circuit is got faulty so the printer is not detecting the co,lour cartridge in it.so it ask for replacement.in this case you will have to compulsary get the replacement cartridge.you can buy new cartridge or recycles cartridge that will be quite cheaper then new cartridge.

Hi on my hp psc2110 all in one ,I have just replaced an old black ink cartridge with a new one .I have tried several times to print and scan. But the error message :Remove and check right cartridge:still...

most likely some problem with the cartridge itself.
if you are using "aftermarket" cartridges, that is usually why the printer doesnt full recognise it...if using a real hp cartridge, there might be a problem with the little circuit board (that is under the tape strip when new)...try returning it to the store where you bought it and asking for a replacement.
