Dont know what your asking but the R is the hot wire to the thermostat, Y's are for cooling, W's are for your heat and the g is for fans. The Y's and W's turn on pilot relays, which control your AC and heat.

Operating worcester bosch 240 gas boiler

Control systems operate on a much lower voltage than the boiler. You should be able to put any kind of thermostat in for it. Just be sure of the wiring when doing it. If its a line voltage stat, I'll need more information to advise correctly.

Worcester 24i boiler..how do i re-ignite the pilot light??

Overheat thermostat has tripped. If a modern Worcester need to press reset on control panel.

If older style Worcester - Pull front cover off the boiler (just above control panel flap pull the cover from both sides forward to unclip and then lift upwards to remove cover) and you will see a little brown reset button - press this back down.
However the over heat thermostat trips for a reason - was the system running on low pressure? It could be the pump is sticking a bit (dirt in the system) which can be sorted easily by adding an additive (DIY packs available at Home-base) . Or it could be the pump has completely gone. If this is the case it will trip again as soon as the boiler clicks back on.

Lighting the pilot light on a Worcester 24CDi combi boiler.

Most of these boilers don"t have a permenant pilot light they have electronic ignition that lights the burner when you are calling for heat or hot water, is there enough water pressure in the boiler ( there is a small gauge on the bottom r/h side of the boiler the needle should be sitting at between 1 - 2 if not enough pressure the boiler won"t light )
