You can try switching out new batteries, both the console and controller off and trying to turn one on and then the other and then try a different order of turning them on if that doesn't work, and if that doesn't work then try (after restarting the console and with the controller initially off) using the calibration button on the console and then holding the calibration button on the controller. If that doesn't work, call xbox support.
if your trying to use the controller to play games on your pc you cant unless u buy the microsoft adapter wireless gaming adapter for your computer, if your trying to just charge it, you just connect the charge cable to your usb drive and windows will automaticly find the drivers.
I assume you are having trouble connecting a wireless controller? Make sure you press the small sync button on the Xbox as well as the guide button on the controller. If this isn't the problem, please elaborate.
If so, it really sounds like your controller keeps losing sync with the 360.
- turn them both off
- turn on the 360 with the power button on the console
- wait for it to start up, then press the sync button next to the usb flap on front.
- then press the sync button on the controller (by the recharge connection slot)
1.) you would hold down two buttons, 2.) One would be on your controller (on the top with a little button on top). 3.) The one would be in front of you Xbox360 console (right next to your second memory slot). 3.) Make sure that they are both on. 4.) Hold them both down at the same time. 5.) And then whenever you see the controller stay on one of the number slots (stable controller) then your done!
