You can try to goto controll panel and then look at user profiles and see if you can change it from there?

if this does not work you might have a virus in your computer run a virus scan right away

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Need to remove password

with out a password reset disk or original password you pretty much gonna have to do a full factory restore to wipe everything the password is protecting including the account. Now this will wipe everything you have put on the pc including paid for items such as anti virus etc.
the process it self it easy enough just type in to google
restore to factory settings (make & model). If u have password then its simple on windows go into control panel then user accounts click the option of removing password/ profile you do need to be an adminstrator to remove a profile or the profile user for the password.

Denied Access to the Desktop in Windows XP then take ownership

Logon as Adminstrator and take ownership of the All Users Desktop folder using this method

Home Edition
By default you need to logon with the safe mode to get to the Adminstrator account in the Home Edition however you can add this account to the welcome screen using this reg tweak HERE at my Sky Drive Public.
Microsoft also tells you that you can't access the security tab in Windows XP Home, well you can if you use this simple PATCH download this from my Sky Drive .It can also be done using the Fajo XPSFE tab installer he has a few other goodies up his sleeve check his website HERE for this and much more the file renamer is a great little tool.

Professional Edition
You will need to disable simple file sharing that is tuned on all PC's that are not part of a Network or Domian you don't need to this in the Home Edition its only for the Professional version,Microsoft have there own FIX to do this for you, the Security tab that you need to access is already there all you need to do is click the advanced button shown in red

then select the user to take ownership as shown in the first screendump

User profile cannot be loaded

If you have an alternate profile on the machine, you can log in with that account and then find the folder with your profile and rename add ".old" to the end of it. When you log back in it will rebuild your profile and you can retrieve your data from the broken profile.

If you cannot access the profiles folder with another user account you will have to either use a Live Linux distribution or attach the hard drive to another device.

On Windows XP user profiles are located under C:\Documents and Settings\%profilename%

In Windows Vista/7/8 they are located under C:\Users\%profilename%

Where it says %profilename% you will need to change the corrupt profile and add .old to the end of it

This isn't a password login problem - the User Profile Service service failed the logon because it's corrupted. Try to login in Safe Mode and access your account from there . If you can then retrieve all your files while you still can and prepare yourself for a reinstall.
If you can't then you will have to use a Linux Live-Cd like
to recover your files before performing a full reinstall.

Last week my laptop crashed suddenly out of nowhere with no warning. When I restarted it and went to login on my user, it wouldn't, it would just say "The User Profile Service service failed to...

It sounds as though the user profile has become corrupted, Best bet would be to remove the drive from the machine and install via a caddy to another machine, this will allow you to access the drive and backup any data which you want to save, then I would replace the drive into the laptop and do a system restore and start fresh.

How can i get in to my windows xp i lost/forgot my password. cd-rom is not working

Install a working CD-ROM drive.
Put your Windows XP disk into the CD-ROM drive.
Boot the computer from the CD-drive.
If you are very careful, and read the installation questions carefully,
and respond accurately, you can install another copy of Windows
Eventually, you can copy all your files from your "old" MY DOCUMENTS folder to your "new" MY DOCUMENTS folder.

When I try to log in to my account on Windows XP, it immediately and automatically logs me back out.

Boot into safe mode and log in as "administrator", then if this works, create a new
user profile on your PC. Now, boot back into normal mode and log in with the new
user profile. If this works, then you simply have a corrupt user profile. You can
access all your old documents and data under C:\Documents and settings\(old user
profile) if you absolutely need it.

Also, make sure your hard drive is not full.

Save device error

What save device are you using? memory card or hard drive?

It sounds like whatever you're using has started to malfunction. Are you able to pull up other save games?

Note that saved games are associated to a unique profile on the device, even if you're not on Xbox Live. That is, if you were logged in as profile "tools" when you saved the game you have to be logged into the same profile to load the game.
