You probably can get the parts from Tritronics, but as far as I know, there aren't hard-copy manuals normally made for any of the newer products. The only paper available nowadays are the users manuals... The service manuals are on-line at Panasonic and available only to authorized repair centers. Sorry.

I'm curious - how in the heck did a gear break in the thing??? There's nothing strong enough in the drive system to do that (either the motors would sieze or belts slip).

The F61 fault means the fan needs to be replaced. My system had the same problem and the fan was making a terrible noise. I had this repaired and the system is as good as new. Although I have the SA-HT995 system, it sounds like the same fault.

I get this error usually once during a movie. Sometimes it is 10 minutes into it, sometimes it is an hour, and the only thing I have ever been able to do to get it to work, is to unplug the black power cord from the unit, for 20 seconds, and then reconnect it, and it usually works for the remainder of the movie. Would like to see a better fix, however!!

Does it jerk forward when you put it into gear and die? Or you put it into gear and the bike doesn't move when you let the clutch out? Badly adjusted clutch in both cases. Worst case, you need new clutch plates and springs.

Hi, B and the usual suspects are:
1. Clutch not disengaging.
2. Bent shift shaft.
3. Shift fork bent or seized.
4. Gear seized on the shaft.
5. Gear positioning lever binding.
6. Shift return springs weak or broken.
7. Shift return spring pin loose
8. Shift mechanism arm spring is broken.
9. Shift mechanism arm is broken.
10. Shift drum is broken.

I have a pananosic sa-ht740 theatre system and my remote control wont work. maybe it's broken, but how do I get my receiver to reset? I'm trying to lower the high base. Secondly, how do i get my...

Read this procedure to possibly fix the remote:
http://remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Display&contents=help_deadremote&uuid=A12963989782821
They also sell replacement remotes.
Zoom in on the picture of the original remote provided on the site (or look at your own) and get the actual remote model number.

or check eBay: search for "(model of the device or the remote) remote", check the 'include description' box. Usually cheaper than the vendors.

Hello, my Panasonic SA-HT70 has a problem with the DVD tray. The drawer opens and closes on its own and then it just says ERROR. There is no way to eject, play or change discs, I have tried all the...

This sounds like the timing for the drawer has beed knocked out of alignment...usually when someone pushes door in instead of pressing eject buttton...you can take top off to remove the discs...the timing can be realigned( assuming there are no broken parts). The best way to re-align the timing is top obtain the service manual. Here, it will give you detailed instructions on what marks to line up....you may be able to get a service manual from UED.net...They are a panasonic parts dist.

Drawer won't open for dvd, makes sound but wont open, panasonic sa-pt760

Hi
The small belt inside the drive is most likely out of place or broken.
That is the most likely cause, you will have to open the dvd player in any case to find out the issue and to replace the belt if that is the issue.
You can eject the drive manually to find the fault by rotating the gears once you get inside.

My Home Theater System is displaying F61,it's a panasonic SA - HT740

The problem is not the fan but either the amp pac or the regulator. If you can update this with the model number of your unit (SA-xxx), I can get you the probable part and cost.

Thanks,
Dan

5CD changer SA-Ak640 will not open disc trays just diplays "CHGR ERR" is locked on disc 5

The loading mechanism has jammed somehow. When powered on, the unit attempts to get to a known position. If that fails, the message you indicate is displayed. The only way to resolve this is to dis-assemble the unit and rebuild the mechainsm. This should NOT be attempted without the service manual. There is a particular way to re-assemble these so that the gearing is correct. There are small gears and levers that need to be aligned properly. Also, there may be a broken lever or gear that needs to be replaced. I have rbuilt a number of these and the parts (if needed) are cheap (<$4 total).

I wold suggest that you bring this to an authorized Panasonic service center.
