Question about Panasonic PT-40LC12 40" Rear Projection HDTV
When I turn the power on all I get is a blinking green power light and nothing else. The lamp is new. The cooling fan does not appear to be running like normal either. I have heard of lamp ballast issues or power supply problems. How can I determine what is the problem?
Check the lamp first ,it could have blown. If the lamp looks good consider the following,The power supply gives the ballast the voltage it needs to strike the lamp, its hard to tell without doing some voltage measurements, you can not measure the output of the ballast but the voltage from the power supply to the ballast yes. Call professional help if you are not familiar with safety when servicing tv's.
