Intermittent week wireless signal

Sign in to the router and make sure the transmit and recieve power is turned to 100%. Also, make sure your wireless card is at 100% power too. If you are just using your computer for basic internet use, remove all protocalls except tcp/ip. To do that, open the control panel, open the network and sharing center, on the left, click change adapter settings. then right click on your wireless card and click properties. the protocalls are the ones with the little slver and gold icon next to them. Not the ones with the little computer icons. remove all except tcp/ip version 4 and tcp/ip version 6. Also check the placement of your routher and if its still doing it. change the channel that the routher is on. channels 1 and 6 work best.

Hey, for some reason my wireless Belkin routher went offline and I am not able to pick up any signals after trying to set a password. I applied some changes and it died... How do I access this wirelss...

look through the instuction to connect thru the modem using its unique ip address, then open ur web browser up and type this in the white goto/search box ( in mine i type http://192.169.1.1) then that connects to the modems settings page
Iv just looked on the net and i believe to connect to the belkins settings page you will have copy and paste this in ur browsers white address box:

http://192.168.2.1

I am trying to set up a belkin wireless g router (802.11g) to my cable modem. i have followed the manual and the installation software. the router seems to connect and configure itself successfully but it...

Most likely you need to change the IP address of the routher because your cable modem uses 192.168.1.1 which is the default for many routers. So either use the disk that came with your router or login to your router and change it to 192.168.2.1. That will solve the conflict and allow you to connect.

Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.
