1994 lincoln town car will not stay running

Idle air control valve.. clean it (mechanic will for just a few dollars) the other culprit would be the mass air flow sensor.. it is located in the air intake tube coming from the filter box.. its round and has one plug in.. if you take it out you will notice the inside looks alot like a honeycomb. its not cheap but I am 99% sure that is what you need....

I had the same problem, had the M.A.F. removed by a Forf dealer and hecleaned it and re installed it 20.00 bucks took all of 10 minuts, also check air filter it can cause it to block and not get enough air, hope this works
