Question about GPX W2004 Personal Cassette Player
My tape player is an older GPX that has a FF and Play. Both seem to be working, the tape is turning when I push either button. However when I push play, no sound is produced even though the tape is turning. I was wondering if there was some easy fix or some small part that I could get from Radio Shack to fix it? Thanks
Ok could be some easy fixes - first if you have a green or thin black earphone socked these are offen easly dammaged - of so it may be possible to solder and new one on - Cause 2 - could be the play head has been dammaged these are easy to replace of you have a replacment head = Cause 3 - dirty earphone socket or faulty earphones = Cause 4 - volume ajustment has failed these are normaly fixed to the board by 5 connectors and othough replaceable they are dificult to match.
