I would suggest also downloading Security Task Manager, as it supplies info of unwanted installed & unshown processes, and gives the rating whether its an adware or safe.

CTRL + ALT + Delete to open the task manager. Go to processes and close some programs that aren't needed.

Screen is on but it is not sliding

The CPU is probably overloaded, and I would recommend a soft reset (restart) to reduce the load. Alternatively it could redistribute tasks if you leave it for a while.

EXTENDING YOUR LAPTOP BATTERY LIFE

One quick way to extend the LIFE of your Laptop battery is reducing the programs running in the background e.g. Any Desktop Searches, Itunes, Wifi (If not in use). All of these add on to the load of the CPU which in turn reduces the life of the battery life.

So please shut down anything and everything which is not required when you are running your laptop on battery.

Can i adjust the fan speed in the bios on my hp zd8000

You don't have to reduce the FAN speed, because the Fan power works in PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). I.E if the CPU processing is increasing due to high process load, the fan speed changes accordingly to maintain a CPU normal temperature.

My cpu is on just i power off the monitor.,series is samsung SyncMasterB1930 is the model., now when i am trying to on the monitor the monitor is not responding it is still power off mode.

First check if the monitor is functional by removing the monitor cable connected to the CPU, once disconnected you should see a onscreen display on the monitor (Keep the power cable intact).

Second check if the CPU is working (not stuck / hung) if you hear the windows logging on sound, then your CPU is fine. If you do not have sound enabled during startup or no speakers then once the system is on give it some time to load windows and then keep tapping the Caps lock or the num lock key, if the lights respond / glow on and off when you press the keys then the CPU is working.

Third check if the CPU has two display ports (in case if you have a onboard VGA and a seperate video card) disconnect it from one port and insert it in another port and restart the computer and see it it works. If you do not have two video ports then skip this step.

Fourth - Restart the computer and keep tapping F8 Key while restarting, in the windows advanced menu choose enable VGA mode or Low resolution video mode (based on XP or Vista/Win 7 the menu changes), if you can see that menu then the issue is with the display settings only. Once in VGA mode or low resolution mode reduce the video resolution settings and restart the computer.

Please revert if you need further assistance, or clarification.

My pc's Front fan is giving bad sound and its speed increases while playing game and give sound but at normal using like chating playing songs it works oK now what to do any one plzz

When you are playing a game, your CPU has to work a lot and a lot of heat is released. To cool it down, the fans run at a high speed making that bad sound. Playing a song does not require a lot of CPU work. To reduce this get a additional fan which can control heat without making noise. Make sure your CPU and the Heat sinkers present are free of dust.

Problem restrart pc /NO AUTORESTART

It sounds like you're trying to overclock your CPU, and you have exceeded what the CPU is capable of, under the current conditions. When you start the computer, enter BIOS setup (e.g. press the DEL key), and adjust the CPU settings to default. If you're not sure how to do this, choose the "LOAD OPTIMAL SETTINGS" or "LOAD DEFAULT SETTINGS" option from the main BIOS menu. If you are not getting this error until after Windows has started, then there is software installed that is trying to overclock the CPU for you. Uninstall it. It may be a program provided by Asus, or may be a third-party program. It will probably have "tweak" or "overclock" in the name. Overclocking can achieve an increase in performance, but will void the warranty, and does reduce the lifespan of the parts, and tends to make Windows crash more often. It can cause immediate failure of the parts. It should only be done if you understand and accept the risks, and have decided the reward is worthwhile. For most users, it is not worth it.
