Question about Optoma EP719 XGA DLP PROJECTOR 2000L 2500:1 CONT DVI-D WITH HDCP Multimedia Projector
The projector had been working great. Plugged it in one time and none of the indicator lights on top came on. It just seems to have no power. Power supply has been checked with a meter and all is OK there. I thought maybe the bulb went bad, but according to the manual...if the bulb goes out the LED on top with lable of "lamp" is supposed to come on (red). I bought this at CompUSA and they are out of business in our area. Called the people that took over the service but they can't find my service agreement and I can't find my receipt from 3 years ago. At the very least would like to find a reputable service center in my area. Thanks, Dave
If the lamp asssembly isnt screwed in tight the unit will not power on. i did have a faulty lamp once, try fitting the old one back to check first. if not the power supply is faulty on the main board or a short in the supply to the lamp can cause this fault.
