Hi, On my grundig vp6200, everytime

Hi I recently had the same problem with my VP6200 and i opened it up back cover only 4 screws 2 at base & 1 each side 1 is behind small metal disc about 10mm diamater.
on opening it up i found the battery had expanded and was putting pressure on the hard disc.
i unplugged the battery connector only 1 way to refit.
and i made 3mm hole at top of battery foil to release pressure then i put pressure on foil to flatten again.
plugged in and presto it lives again.
I understand this problem has been around in pda's and laptops for some time now. Next i am looking for new battery. good luck. mikey
