Question about Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook
I have a Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop. I was on the interent with my ethernet cord pluggin in to my Cox modem. Then I slightly dropped my laptop on the carpet (knee to the ground distance). So I restarted the laptop and the modem. Cox even sent me a technician to see if something was wrong with the modem. I was informed that something might be wrong with my laptop.
It seems as though my laptop doesn't even recognize if the ethernet cord is plugged in or not. I have no internet connection even though my bro has internet connection with the same ethernet cord plugged onto this.
P.S. I was researching and read "Ethernet port??" on FixYa - that it might be a driver glitch. I was somewhat following the instructions and I do not see "ethernet or network controller in the device manager...
Right clik onmy network places chekc your lan card is enable?
if not enable it.
