Problemtoinstall with Windows 7

I could not find the Windows 7 64-bit drivers on Labtec website. However, I would suggest to download & install the Windows Vista 64-bit drivers.

Here's how to download them:
1. Go to: http://www.labtec.com/index.cfm/service/listing/EUR/EN,crid=68,crid2=1764
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the section "Software for Labtec Notebook WebCam, Webcam Pro, WebCam Plus, plus SE and labtec® webcam".
3. From the "- Select Your Operating System -" drop-down menu, select "Windows Vista 64-bit".
4. From the "- Select Your Language -" drop-down menu, select "English".
5. Click on the "download" button to start the download.

Doesn't work with Vista

if its vista 32 bit you should have no problem with it. The drivers should be readily available on Intels site. IF it's 64 bit...good luck. They may or may not be available for 64 bit Vista.

Question?

Hi,
You will most likely need to select the "Multilingual 32-bit" option. If you're using the 64-bit version of Windows XP or Windows Vista, then select "Multilingual 64-bit"; the "normal" versions (that almost everyone uses) of XP & Vista are 32-bit.

To explain this a little further, here's how to tell if your PC is even capable of using a 64-bit operating system. Right click on "My Computer" and select "Properties", then select the "Advanced" tab. Near the bottom, select "Environment Variables". Scroll down the "System variables" until you find "PROCESSOR_ARCHITECTURE" (under the "Variable" column). If the value shows "x86", your pc has a 32-bit processor; if the value shows "x64", your PC has a 64-bit processor. Cancel out of this.

Using the software from the web site is much more current, anyway; the software on the CD that came with my camera was very outdated.

Hope this helps.

Ray
