On 1989 Kawasaki 650 Sx jet ski: I hooked up water to engine with in-line hose connection, turned water on and ran it. It misses at mid to high speed/rpm and sometimes runs just fine. I check plugs and...

Always keep the water pressure low, when the water coming out of the side of machine is cold you should turn down pressure. Engine on first then water, water turned off then wait 10 seconds and turn off machine. If you go out on a ride then park it for say an hour and find water in cylinders I would replace gasket. My shop time on all the J series engines is 20 minutes for head gasket.

My jd F510 mower has a Kawasaki PA402A engine in it and it has an electrical problem. It will start and run for a minute or mayby 10-15 minutes and then it will die. Why??????????

I think if its an electrical problem then you should check the fuse. It might have burned out you can tell if that has happened by seeing that the metal wires in the middle aren't touching then you have to replace it with a fuse with the same number on top. Their not expensive at all and you can find them at your local hardware store.

Kawasaki 650 brute force won't start

Sounds like to me that your motor is locked up, take the CVT cover off and see if you can turn the primary clutch with your hands. If your not able to turn the primary clutch, then the motor is locked up. Good Luck.

Kawasaki 550sx won't start

souds as if the starter is faulty. Use a volt meter to check voltage at the starter while holding the start button. If you get a battery voltage reading, then the starter is shot.

I have 750 drifter. went to start it and I have lights and electrical but when I push the start button all I get is "clicking" noise. I checked the battery charge and it is full. what else can I check?

I took the battery out and had it tested at a friends shop. Turns out the battery really only had about 9% life left and the "clicking" sound was only the starter relay trying to work. The battery has a dead cell and won't hold charge anymore. Bought a new battery and all is well!
Thanks

Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 1500

Was any of the wires cut through?  Just a shot in the dark, but try unplugging and re-plugging the wire connector going into the clutch lever.  If that doesn't work submit more information.
