Turn off the computer and monitor. Disconnect the monitor. Turn on the monitor. You should get some indication the monitor is on, if not it is probably dead.

If the monitor seems to be on, try to enter the menu by using the buttons or knobs on the monitor. If the menu comes up, the monitor is probably good and you have a computer problem.

If you think the monitor is bad, hook it up to an operational computer. If it works, you definitely have a computer problem; if not the the monitor is definitely dead.

Either way try to have the problem resolved under the warranty.

The beeping sound of the emachine desktop T3414 makes a long beeping sound for 4 seconds flat and pauses for 2 seconds and repeats the process. Hope this is a broader explanation of the problem. Thanks.

Open cpu cabinet.
Then refix RAM memory.
Pull processor fan and then processor remove dust from all parts and circuit.
Reattach both processor and its fan.
then check if still face same issue.
Then pull cmos cell from motherbord.
Change RAM memory slot module .
Remove pic cards from PCI slot.
Reattch ATX power connector from smps to motherbord.
Then check.
If still face same problem then your RAM has need to be replaced.

Let me know if you need more assistanse.
Thanks.

Computer shuts off anytime

Your problem description tells me you may have a failing power supply. Or you may have problems on the motherboard in the form of failed capacitors. I would check the capacitors first. Bad capacitors can usually be found by simple visual inspection. A failed capacitor will appear to be swelled on the end as the exposed aluminum can will show a "domed" appearance instead of being flat, sometimes they will actually split. Look at each capacitor, especially in the area close to the processor/heatsink. If capacitors are the problem it won't be just one! they are replaceable by someone with the replacement parts, and sufficient soldering skills and tools. If the caps look good, I would suspect the power supply.

Still having trouble with EMachines T3882

I feel your pain. I finally moved my pc to a room with no windows! But seriously, try a different monitor first. See if you can borrow someone's to just try it before you do anything else. If that borrowed monitor works fine, then you know what the problem is. (Which I believe is the problem.) By the way, what started all of your problems?
