Question about HP PC Desktops

HP Photosmart 2600/2700/series all-in-one printer error message remove and check printer cartridge on the right when I had been using this cartridge for a while. I have cleaned the cartridge with distilled water; plugged and unplugged the printer and I still get the message

Try to reset the HP Photosmart printer, power off, remove the main supply cable, leave it for 30 sec... and restart the printer...below link might be useful for more troubleshooting tips..

Dell v305 printer allignment problem


Hello Michelle,

You are using Dell Series 9 ink cartridges, correct?

If you unplug the printer from the wall and remove the power brick for 60 seconds, this will reset any error messages the printer has. I would then plug everything back in.

Power on the printer.

Open the printer(with the power on) and take out the Dell Series 9 black cartridge and then reseat it. I would then take out the color Dell Series 9 ink cartridge and reseat it. Now close the printer and it will print an alignment page.

Any error messages?

black cartridge = black side(left side) color cartridge = color side(right side)
photo cartridge = black side(left side) color cartridge = color side(right side)

It's possible to get a Dell Series 9 ink cartridge with a bad sensor. I would take these back to the place of purchase for a replacement.

My HP Photosmart C6380 All in one printer , won't print. It reads ink system failure. With a code 0xc19a0036 Could you tell me what might be wrong.


The product displays a '0x ... ' error message. The exact text of the error varies by product, but it is usually preceded by the word 'Error .' c01733891.gifImportant: If your error message includes the words 'ink system failure ,' check your cartridges before reading this document. If you use any of the following cartridges, refer instead to 'Ink System Failure' Message Displays on the Control Panel (c01458034) (in English) to solve this error: Solution one: Reset the product
  1. Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product.
    NOTE: The USB cable connects to the port on the back of the product. The port is labeled with the USB icon (c01424575.gif ). Figure 2: Example USB connection (your product might not look exactly the same as this example)c01651067.gif
  2. Remove the cartridges from the product.
  3. Wait for the 'Insert Cartridges ' message to display on the control panel.
  4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
  5. Wait 60 seconds.
  6. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button (c01602202.gif ).
  7. Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product.
  8. If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
  9. Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product, and then try printing again.
Solution two: Service the product If you have completed all the steps listed above and are still experiencing a problem, service the product.

Printer spooler problem


you may wish to reinstall the printer program that you have for that printer as well as confirming the software is in fact for that operating system.

HP Photosmart printer Ink System Failure Error 0xc18a0201 happens every time I start it.


You press the button to turn off the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
Remove all the ink cartridges. Remove all the ink cartridges.
Wait two minutes. Wait two minutes.
Plug the power cord into the back of the printer. Plug the power cord into the back of the printer.
Press the On button to turn the printer on. You press the button to turn the printer on.
Install the ink cartridges when prompted. Install the ink cartridges when prompted.
If the error code does not display, the issue is resolved. If the error code does not display, the issue is resolved.

The black cartridge will not load, it keeps telling us the cartridge is not the right one. we tried to put in the old cartridge and it will not work either, it keeps giving us the same error.


I was reading my printers manual and it don't state anything about error messages except to click the help button when the error message pops up. that must be help specific to that error. Good Luck.

Clean the bottom of the cartridge and restart your printer.  Re-installing it might helps aswell
