Question about Casio G7100-3V Wrist Watch
When I enter the e-memory mode in my watch, I see lines, telling me that I need to type something. After I type some number in, there is an error message, in the upper screen("Err"). I tried every button, please tell me how I work with it. thankes.
open the backside.
probably the light switch contact at the six side of the watch (attached to the steel mainframe) may have contact with the electronic cirquit

Did you go to Casio and download the manual? I just did after my battery change and I hoping it updates tonight at 2,3, or 5am with my watch in the window.

SOURCE: Casio watch
in time keeper mode (press lower left button 6 times) then hold down the top left button until the current digital timer starts blinking then hold down the lower right hand button until you see the minute hand start moving if you got a long way to go like more than 2 hours of adjusting press and hold the top right button and the bottom right button and the minute hand will move automatically. to stop the movement push the bottom right button and pressing this bottom right button advances the minute hand 20 seconds .. at a tick.
I hope this helps

The watch will set itself at specific time set times, this is likely to be at 0200 0400 and 0600.
You will however be required to set the time zone, the switch is likely to be on the back.
Atomic Time Synchronisation:
How does it work.
Radio set clocks and watches receive a 60-kilohertz, radio signal from the NIST the official timekeeper for the US and is located in Boulder, Colorado. Ft. Collins. they use atomic clocks and transmits this official time via high frequency short-wave and low frequency AM radio signals, satellite transmission, Internet, and via telephone.

This sounds like you're getting WWV signals from other time zones, and I'm not sure there's anything that can be done about it, shy of someone turning the sensitivity control down, and that would take a pretty savvy guy.
You might call around to local watch repair shops and see what they think. They're the guys that have the experience, and may know of a fix.
If they have no ideas about what's going on, contact Casio and see what they can offer for support. Here's their support site:
Good luck, and hope this helps.
