well all i can think of is that you mite have it on the wrong input or you vedio cables may need to be replaced. some friend of mne had to chage out there cables to so hopefully this helps you if not im sorry.
Some x-box 360 cables have a switch on the end that inserts into the 360 console. It switches to HD TV if you have one. If it is switched to the wrong TV type you will get no picture.
Try a different cable or HDMI cable if the 360 had HDMI.
If none of the above work its probably 360 mainboard. Easiest fix would be to replace it or exchange if it has warranty. Good Luck
Usually this indicates that someone has hit the CLOSED CAPTION button or possibly the PIP (picture in picture) button on the TV remote. There is nothing wrong with the xbox, it is actually a setting on your TV. Check the remote to see how you can disable closed captions.
Go into the system settings and flick through the family settings. If
you signed up with an underaged account, they should have made you
attach a parental account. When it asks, just fill in the info for the
parent email and change the settings to allow you to do whatever you
want. I'm currently trying to figure out how to change the age. You may
have to recover your profile but I'm pretty sure you can just change
the email address your account is linked with.
********
If you wanna change the email address linked to your xbox live account,
go into the marketplace blade, select account management and there
should be something there like windows live ID. Just go in there and
put in the details and then the new details. You'll figure it out from
here...
hi richt2,
This problem could be 2 things,
The first one, could be an easy fix, which is the picture cord going from the `box to the tv could be in the wrong slot, make sure if they are color coded they are in the cirrect spaces. The obvious problem could be a faulty cord.
Try rearranging the cord placement.
Then try a new cord.
