Easy fix, but expensive. The lense inside the Elite is not able to read the disks. It could be completely shot or it could have a little build up of residue covering the laser used to read the disks. Either way, this is not something you can fix at home. Sorry dude. Your best bet would be to call microsoft and see what places around you could take it to get repaired.
