it can definitly be fixed but, if all the other components are working fine, I wouldn't take a chance in taking it appart to fix the LCD. If it's something you feel is needed, you can easily find the LCD you're looking for on Ebay. They usually run about $50. With a cracked LCD, of course, the value of the camera goes down, but if you ever plan on selling it or trading it in, the LCD should be replaced! Good Luck!
