Question about IBM Wheelwriter 30 Typewriter
When I start my IBM typewriter, there is a box with a diagnonal line thru it and the number 215. It won't let me type and the carriage will not move. I've already had the power supply replaced. I returned it to the repair person, he brought me in the back and showed me the typewriter worked. I bring it home, and it doesn't work and I get the same message. What could be wrong?
Code 215 is a printwheel error. Remove the P/W and look for debris in that area, if you have some compressed air source blow this area out, if this dosen't do it the P/W sensor or the LED are probably going bad.
